Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope
This policy applies to all paid subscription plans offered on AstroJanamPatrika ("the Service"), operated by Moonlight SkyTech. All payments are processed via Razorpay in Indian Rupees (INR).
2. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by:
- Going to Dashboard → Plan → Cancel Subscription, or
- Emailing us at moonlight.skytech@gmail.com with your registered email address and subscription details.
Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which no further charges will be made. You will retain access to premium features until the period ends.
3. Refund Eligibility
3.1 Full Refund — 7-Day Window
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- You request it within 7 days of the initial purchase, and
- You have not generated more than 3 premium AI-interpreted charts or downloaded more than 1 PDF report.
3.2 Pro-Rata Refund — Annual Plans
For annual subscription plans, if you cancel within 30 days of purchase, we will refund the remaining unused months on a pro-rata basis (i.e., total amount minus the monthly equivalent rate for each month already used).
3.3 No Refund
Refunds will not be issued if:
- The refund request is made after 30 days from the purchase date.
- Premium features have been substantially used (more than 3 AI readings or 3 PDF downloads).
- The account has been terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service.
- The request is for a renewal charge where we sent a prior renewal reminder (auto-renewal).
4. How to Request a Refund
Email us at moonlight.skytech@gmail.com with:
- Subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Registered Email]"
- Your registered email address.
- Razorpay Payment ID (found in your payment receipt email).
- Reason for refund (optional but helpful).
We will respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method via Razorpay.
5. Failed or Duplicate Payments
If you were charged but did not receive access to premium features due to a technical error, or if you were charged twice for the same plan, please contact us immediately at moonlight.skytech@gmail.com. Such cases will be resolved with a full refund or credit within 3 business days.
6. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Unauthorised chargebacks may result in account suspension. We will always work with you to resolve payment disputes directly.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects changes. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email.
